Born (March 23, 1998), in Kortrijk (Belgium). She started the sport of Taekwondo at the age of 5, together with her brother (Simon). As a very active kid, Indra used to do different activities 7/7; music school, swimming, Taekwondo, reading books, sleeping in the car while the parents were driving their two kids to these different activities.
Indra had to focus on one principal activity/sport. She chose her passion for Taekwondo. A few years later, she proved that she had made the right choice and had become CadetEuropean champion.
At the age of 14, Indra moved from her parents' home to join the ‘Topsportschool’ in a different city, different environment, different school, and especially living alone at that very young age. But Indra’s goal was clear: to succeed in sports and school.
A few years later, she added more medals and titles to the European collection. She became the unique athlete to manage to win: Cadets, juniors, u21 and seniors clubs European championships. Another silver medal at the Youth Olympic Games. She becomes an unstoppable athlete.
"Not easy at all, but possible." said Indra. She managed to succeed at Sports & School. A great role model to follow.
Today, Indra is a full-time professional athlete and a teacher to be.
